Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Bake sweet potatoes at 450° for 1 hour.
- Scoop potatoes from shells.
- Combine potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk, and butter.
- Place in large casserole dish.
- Combine topping and place on top of potatoes.
- Cover dish.
- (This can be made a day ahead of time up to this point.)
