24 Hour Salad
Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1/2 cup cream (whipping cream)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 teasp. salt
- 1 can Royal Anne cherries – drained
- 1/2 cup almonds, sliced & blanched
- 1/2 lb. marshmallows – small
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- (grapes – optional)
Directions
- Cook over double boiler until thick, and cool.
- Fold in 1 can Royal Anne cherries – drained
- 1/2 cup almonds, sliced & blanched
- 1/2 lb. marshmallows – small
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped – fold in & chill 24°
